Hey Blurry nice pics. Looks like your build is coming along quite well. I did notice something in picture # 14 in the sequence that might help you a little. The rear servo arm is pointing up and the swash is pointing down. Looks like your elevator arm needs to be lengthened. Hope this helps but maybe you already caught this after you took the picture.

why not a 500 or a 50 size nitro?? (more stable)

cuz any thing over 450 is just to much money and plus if i got any thing bigger i would have to find a bigger place to fly it. 250 i can fly in my living room

come on out and fly with us we have lots of fun just messing around.
Lon has been finding some great deals on 50 size nitros (EBAY).

BluRRy, I f I were u I would spend my $ on one of those 50 size Helies that Lon is finding and hava a great flying heli, those p whistles arent worth the prouder to blow them up. Waste of money. Get something that u can learn on and that will last 4 a while, put 250 $ into a good 50 u willhave a good heli that u can injoy for a long time. Your $ just my 1 cent worth through what I have learned over the years.

Blurry I make a hobby out of buying and selling Helis and the biggest mistake I have made is not buyibg Align

for example

used Heli max 450 sells for .25 on the dollar, Align 450 sells for .80 cents on the dollar used
Both have 401's and 2.4 ect. same heli components.

so 1000.00 heli used is 250 for HM and 1000. used align is 800. The dam things hold their value

THE BIG DIFFERENCE is Align products hold their value better. Helimax makes a great product but it never gained market share like Align has.

AND from an enginers point of view, mine, all the electric motors have a somewhat universal bolt pattern on them.
When one goes to tighten these bolts on the motor during install on a heli-max, you cant. THEY put the dam side frames directly above the screw, WHAT A DUM DESIGN. The helimax is full of mistakes that a 22 year old designer makes because they are just learning how to design. Screws too close to the edge so the tapped material cracks, one has to have the frame apart to install one of the servos,

Hence the Helimax 450 never caught on.
